Pharmacist Outpatient

We are seeking a qualified and experienced pharmacist to join our outpatient team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital pharmacy operations and be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacist experience required New Jersey State Pharmacist License required Request for Time Off (RTO) required at the time of submission Every other weekend (EOW) required Primarily evening shift from 1500 to 2300 Holidays required (1–2 depending on contract length) Experience with Pyxis and carousel technology preferred but not required Epic charting experience preferred Will accept first-time travelers Scrubs or business casual attire, any color Must be fully vaccinated, including COVID booster No floating required Responsibilities Operational Review, verify, and dispense medication orders Prepare sterile and hazardous medications per USP standards Manage controlled substances Complete medication histories, reconciliation, and patient education Clinical Perform clinical interventions Monitor therapy for optimal outcomes Provide drug information to healthcare teams and patients Additional Information RTLS Badge: If a traveler receives an RTLS badge, they will sign a facility attestation that the badge was received. Costs will apply if the badge is lost or not returned at the end of the contract, whether completed or canceled.
