Shore Point Distributing Company, one of New Jersey's largest beverage wholesalers, has immediate openings for customer-oriented and motivated individuals to join our Freehold, NJ team as Driver Helpers for the summer season.Pay: $18.25 per hour, plus commission after a two-week training period for new hires.Shore Point Distributing Company is a family-owned beverage distributor located in Freehold, NJ, carrying an extensive portfolio of Beers, Wine, Spirits, and Non-Alcoholic beverages throughout the state, servicing Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex, Somerset, Warren, Hunterdon, Burlington, Mercer, Union, Essex, Hudson, Bergen, Passaic, Morris, and Sussex counties.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with unloading and delivering heavy and awkward products from delivery trucks to multiple customer locations daily.Perform physically demanding work outdoors under varying weather and environmental conditions.Ensure all product loaded for delivery matches shipping documentation and is delivered in good condition.Assist with loading, organization, and handling of products and inventory.Work safely at all times and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.Maintain safe operations and clean appearance while complying with company operational standards and all applicable state and local laws and regulations.Assist with maintaining accurate delivery, truck, and route driving records.Qualifications & RequirementsStrong verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.Dependable and reliable attendance.Clean driving record required.Reliable transportation to and from work.Ability to regularly lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 165 lbs. on a daily basis.Ability to occasionally push and pull up to 165 lbs. on a daily basis.Ability to unload, transport, and position products as required.Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts.Work ScheduleThis position is typically scheduled Monday through Friday, with start times between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM Mandatory overtime may be required.Additional RequirementsAll candidates considered will undergo a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and physical examination.#zr
