Back of House Team Member Opening shift

ABOUT THE ROLEWe are hiring Back of House Team Members for our Morning Shift to support breakfast and lunch operations in a fast-paced, well-organized kitchen.This role is ideal for someone who:* Enjoys starting their day early* Takes pride in clean, safe, and efficient work* Works well as part of a team* Is looking for consistent, part-time hoursAt Chick-fil-A, working in the kitchen is more than just preparing food - it's about teamwork, consistency, and doing things the right way every day.WHAT YOU'LL DO* Arrive on time for a 5:30 AM start and check in with the opening kitchen leader* Prepare ingredients and set up the kitchen for breakfast and lunch service* Cook, assemble, and package food according to Chick-fil-A standards* Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep, cook, and dish areas* Follow food safety procedures, including temperature checks and FIFO rotation* Work across kitchen stations such as prep, breading, fries, and assembly* Communicate clearly with teammates and leadership to support smooth service* Work safely around kitchen equipment and report maintenance concerns* Participate in training and stay up to date on procedures and menu items* Follow Chick-fil-A appearance, safety, and operational standards at all timesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR* Must be 18 years or older* Saturday availability is required* Reliable, punctual, and consistent* Able to work in a fast-paced environment* Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs* Willing to learn and work as part of a team* Positive attitude and strong work ethic* Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is helpful, but not requiredWHAT WE OFFER* $16.25/hour starting pay* Consistent, predictable scheduling* A clean, well-run kitchen environment* Supportive leadership and team culture* Training and development opportunities* Scholarship opportunities* Voluntary health, dental, vision, and life insurance options are available for eligible team members (employee-paid)* Sundays offEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYChick-fil-A Freehold Township Route 9 North is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
