This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation,pricingand promotional signing processes for all Food&Beverage areas of the store. The role of a Food & Beverage Expert can provide you with theskills and experiences of: Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-firstand freshnessculture inFood &BeverageFood & Beverage business fundamentals, includingsales trends, inventory, quality and freshness management,andguest shopping patternsUnderstanding food seasonality, freshness and quality, food safety standards and routines, and merchandisingWorking with a dynamic and fast-paced team focused onthe guest experience androutinely executing the Food & Beverage Standardsand best practicesthrough individual Assignment Sheetsand task execution.As aFood & Beverage Expert,no two daysare ever the same, but a typical day willmost likely includethe following responsibilities: Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:Greet:10ft: be friendly – smile, make eye contact, or wave4ft: greet the guest, smile andinitiatea warm, helpful interactionHelp guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experienceEnd every guest transaction with a sincere thank youActively support team efforts andassistpeers in other areas whilemaintaininga positive and respectful attitudeAdjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experienceDeliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.Uphold andmaintainthe execution of the Food&Beverage Standards.Execute Food & Beverage processes includingfood deliveries,replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocksroutines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning,signingandorganizing and storing reserveproduct.Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.Work with vendors to proactively set,maintainand make planned changes tosalesfloormerchandise displays and to keep organized backroom space.Locate andidentifydamaged,recalledor expired items andprocessaccording to Target’s policies and procedures.Execute all federal,stateand localadult beveragelaws as they apply to your business.Appropriately use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment;
