We are a mid-sized law firm, based out of Fort Worth and Burleson. We are looking for a skilled professional with excellent negotiation and organizational abilities to work full-time. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, be a qualified attorney, and possess excellent written communication skills. Trial experience is required.Duties:- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other resources- Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and briefs- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients- Represent clients in court proceedings- Prepare and present legal arguments- Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulationsSkills:- Strong research skills with proficiency in Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other legal research tools- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client representation- Ability to negotiate and litigate cases effectively- Proficiency in legal drafting for the preparation of contracts, pleadings, and briefs- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for case analysis- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team of attorneysRequirements:- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school- Admission to the state bar- Minimum of xijylhu 5 years of experience practicing law-First Chair trial experience- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulationsWe offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.Job Type: Full-timePay: $105,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Parental leave* Professional development assistance* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
