Overview We are seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide first"‘level technical support to end users in a professional business environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting common IT issues, supporting a variety of devices, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining accurate documentation. Responsibilities Provide Help Desk support to users via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to macOS and Windows operating systems, software applications, and user accounts. Support hardware including desktops, laptops, smartphones, printers, and other IT equipment. Perform Active Directory tasks such as password resets, account creation, account deletion, and basic user access management. Document incidents, resolutions, and follow"‘up actions in the ticketing system. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Tier 2 or other IT teams as needed. Deliver professional, customer"‘focused support to users of varying technical skill levels. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience supporting a service desk, help desk, or internal business users. Experience supporting operating systems, software, hardware, mobile devices, and printers. Hands"‘on experience with Active Directory, including password resets and user account management. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with a customer"‘service mindset. Preferred Skills Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar. Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 applications. Ability to work independently while collaborating with IT team members. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
