Position Overview Serco is looking for a Lead Military Training Specialist to join our Technical Support Team (TST). You will play a crucial role in delivering impactful training operations that support the mission at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Your expertise will be vital in planning, executing, and assessing large-scale military training exercises for Army and Joint organizations. This opportunity will allow you to provide critical insights and analytical support aligned with training objectives across various warfighting functions. Please note that this position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Collecting and managing data related to warfighting function procedures, decisions, and orders during military training exercises. Collaborating with military WfF Chiefs and Observer Controller/Trainers to analyze data and create visual products for After Action Reviews (AARs). Assisting in exercise design and scenario development, contributing to planning phases within Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and Army Exercise Life Cycle (ELC). Coordinating both internal and external resources, tracking planning progress, and preparing contract deliverables. Maintaining proficiency in military simulations, models, and AAR systems including WARSIM, V3D, and ARCHER. Gaining knowledge of the NGSC Archiving and Enhanced Retrieval System (ARCHER) and its tools (ARROW, Ballista, Crosshair). Developing expertise in Joint training and doctrine through relevant course completions (e.g., JTF-101, GCCS-J, DSCA). Success in this Role Requires: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field with relevant experience in military training or operations. MEL 4-CGSC or equivalent; completion of a relevant advanced course. Active DoD Secret clearance. Strong familiarity with current Army and Joint doctrine. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Functional knowledge of ABCS systems including CPOF, CPCE, DCGS-A, GCCS-A, TIGR, JCR, TAIS, AMDWS, AFATDS, and DDS. Able to brief on Army ABCS network structures and address basic network issues. Capable of managing multiple training tasks and priorities effectively. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree. Experience at Brigade or higher staff levels, especially within the Sustainment WfF. Background as an Observer Controller/Trainer or in computer-assisted simulation training. Staff officer experience with Joint Task Force (JTF) and Joint Force Land Component Command (JFLCC).
