POSITION SUMMARY: The Busser supports both kitchen and dining operations by maintaining cleanliness, resetting tables, and keeping service stations stocked. This role assists with guest service by delivering beverages and bread, clearing tables efficiently, and supporting servers as needed. Additional responsibilities include busing tables, folding napkins, and handling general cleaning tasks. A commitment to cleanliness and teamwork are essential. Positions are available at various locations on and around the mountain-placement will be determined upon hire. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Provide personable and courteous interaction with guestsSupport wait staff as neededClear and wipe clean all tables and chairsReset tables with china, glass, and silverwareProvide water at tables and refillMaintain cleanliness of dining room, floors, walls, windows and windowsillsMaintain cleanliness of bussing/wait stationBuff and clean silverware after washingCompliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirementsOther duties as assigned WAGE: The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resort's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resort's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits. Hourly pay range: $18-$20 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 2 years of previous work history/education requiredMust be a minimum 16 years of ageMust be on feet for extended periods of time; stand for long periods of timeMust have good organizational skillsMust maintain a professional well-groomed appearanceAdhere to all safety policiesKnowledge of restaurant table service, preferredInteract and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC's Service Excellence standardsLift approximately 50 pounds on an occasional basisMust be able to obtain a Food Handler and Allergy training certificate or must attend Food Handler and Allergy training certification courses for Alterra Mountain Company within 14 days of employment (provided).
