If you're enthusiastic about architecting and implementing highly technical solutions and have the people skills to be strategic with our clients, then this could be the fit for you!A successful candidate for this position will, above all, closely reflect the values that we have built this company upon: honesty, integrity, and an ambition to continually improve every aspect of our work.THE SPECIFICS OF THE JOBResponsibilitiesCollaborate with coworkers, vendors, and work directly with clients via phone and email to design and implement a wide variety of technical engineering projectsArchitect, build, and administer mission-critical server infrastructure, firewalls, physical, and wireless networksPerform cloud migrations (Exchange, SharePoint, Entra ID/Intune, Azure)General complex administration of the Microsoft 365 ecosystemTake ownership of an issue, project, or architecture/design, seeing it through from beginning to endMust be flexible with on-duty hours as some project activities take place during evenings and/or weekendsBuild upon and write new internal and client-facing documentationParticipate in an on-call rotationJob RequirementsThis role requires working from the office a minimum of three (3) days per weekExcellent written and verbal skills are imperative (previous Customer Service experience is a plus)Have the enterprise-level skills and awareness to understand and appreciate change control, proper documentation, and communicationWell-versed with Windows Server, multi-site Active Directory environments, Advanced Group Policy Management, NPS and RADIUS authenticationDeep virtualization experience (Primarily Hyper-V, VMware, and corresponding clustering technologies, including SAN management)Knowledge of VDI and/or Session-based desktop design and implementation (Citrix, Microsoft RDS)Solid knowledge of LAN and WAN infrastructure (IPSec VPN Tunnels, VLANs, routing, DHCP/DNS, SD-WAN)Security design and best practices for systems and networks, including Multifactor Authentication implementationCoding or scripting experience is helpful (PowerShell, VBScript, or Python)Cloud infrastructure design, architecture, and administration (Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS)At least 4 years of experience in an engineering role in an MSP environment is required.
