Our Business & Wealth Relationship Manager II represents the Credit Union by maintaining existing relationships, while building new, prospective relationships within the footprint of our communities. This position serves as a subject matter expert on all treasury, private wealth, business, and commercial related deposit and lending products. The position is responsible for account management, business development and serves in a leadership capacity acting as an advisor for members while creating awareness of credit union services. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Business Development: Actively prospect, network, and acquire new business members to grow the portfolio. Relationship Management & Collaboration: Proactively contact business members to assess needs, provide advice, and maintain high satisfaction levels. Partner with branch employees and other departments for cross-selling and service delivery. Credit & Product Knowledge: Analyze, process, and evaluate business loan applications and financial statements to assess risk. Offer financial products, including checking/savings accounts, treasury services, loans, and credit cards. Compliance & Risk: Ensure all activities adhere to credit union policies, regulations, and risk management guidelines. Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Knowledge and Skills: Experience: Generally 2-3 years of experience in business banking, lending, or finance as well as experience with common regulatory requirements for commercial lending. Education/Certifications/Licenses: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred but not required Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers. Other Skills: Sales Ability: Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Analytical Skills: Proficient in financial analysis and credit risk assessment. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and networking skills to build relationships. Full Time Position Starting Range: $80,000 - $95,000 This is a commission-based role, so your total earnings will depend on your performance. ADA Requirements: Physical Requirements: Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Working Conditions: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise. Mental and/or Emotional Requirements: Must be able to perform job the following job functions: Independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team, read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics. Speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Conduct self calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Exercise highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
