This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment supporting day-to-day accounting operations for a dynamic and mission-driven business within the agricultural industry.The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and prior experience within agriculture, agribusiness, seed, farming, or related industries. Bilingual Spanish skills are highly preferred due to the company's operational footprint and communication needs.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with general ledger accounting and month-end close activitiesPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting supportSupport AP/AR processes and maintain accurate accounting recordsAssist with inventory, operational, and cost accounting activitiesWork cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and field teamsEnsure compliance with internal accounting procedures and reporting standardsSupport audits and special accounting projects as neededMaintain accuracy in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred2+ years of accounting experience preferredAgriculture, agribusiness, farming, seed, or related industry experience requiredBilingual Spanish preferredStrong Excel skills and comfort working within ERP/accounting systemsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating across departments
