POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT: The LCPC or LCSW provides professional mental health services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy for individuals, families, or groups. The clinician collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and support patients in achieving their emotional and psychological wellness goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices Use developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions with younger clients Collaborate with clinical mental health and physical health providers and staff to provide comprehensive care for clients Collaborate with caregivers, schools, and other community professionals as needed Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards Respond to crisis situations, conduct risk assessments, and develop safety plans as needed Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources Facilitate discharge planning, referrals, and coordination with community services or agencies Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and continuing education/training Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations The employee will demonstrate the ability to: manage time, maintain a safe and clean environment, practice confidentiality, treat all persons with respect and professional courtesy, accept change, support the mission and vision of Rosebud Health Care Center (RHCC), accept and provide constructive feedback, be a team player, and adhere to the infection control, fire and safety, disaster and hazardous waste policies. Education: Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field Licensure/Certification: Current and active state licensure as an LCPC or LCSW Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in clinical counseling, social work, or mental health preferred
