Beyond delivering propane, the company emphasizes safety, convenience, and strong community ties, offering programs that simplify customers' lives while also supporting the towns and neighborhoods where employees and customers live and work.Position Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Consultant to join our HR team on a contract basis. This role plays an important part in supporting day-to-day HR operations while helping maintain positive relationships with employees and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can adapt to new systems and processes while ensuring HR tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. This position will assist with a variety of HR functions including employee support, data management, compliance, and administrative coordination. Key Responsibilities: Accurately process and maintain employee data and HR records within HR systems and databases Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes Support HR team members with administrative tasks, documentation, and project coordination Respond to employee and internal stakeholder inquiries in a professional and timely manner Review and process HR-related requests such as employment changes, documentation, and internal forms Maintain organized records and ensure accuracy across HR documentation and reporting Collaborate with team members to complete daily responsibilities and ad hoc projects Ensure HR practices follow company policies as well as state, federal, and local employment regulations Assist with data tracking, reporting, and HR system updates as needed Qualifications: Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees and leadership Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems, tools, and processes Demonstrated ability to follow written instructions, policies, and procedures Professional and business-like demeanor when interacting with employees, coworkers, and leadership Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel At least 2 years of related HR, administrative, or operations experience preferred
