Wound Care NP/PA Locum Mobile Clinic Contract Foley, MN $75 95/hour Part-Time (2 3 Days/Week) 6-Month Contract Minimum Start ASAPWe're seeking a highly skilled and procedurally confident Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a mobile healthcare initiative bringing hospital-grade wound care services directly to rural and underserved communities across Minnesota. This role is built for a clinician who operates with independence, brings serious procedural depth, and is genuinely motivated by expanding access to care for patients who need it most.About This OpportunityThis position is based out of a mobile clinic operating out of Foley, MN. You'll manage complex, chronic wounds and advanced bedside procedures in a nontraditional setting, supported by remote collaborating physicians and telespecialists available for real-time consultation. The patients you'll serve face significant barriers to specialty wound care your work here directly changes outcomes and in many cases preserves limbs.If you're a wound care clinician who thrives with autonomy, brings strong clinical judgment to remote environments, and wants your practice to mean something beyond a traditional clinic setting this is worth a serious look.What You'll Be Doing Clinical Care Manage complex chronic wounds and complications including diabetic, venous, arterial, and pressure injuriesDeliver limb-preserving care for high-risk diabetic and vascular wound patientsPerform sharp debridement and routine chronic wound care including dressings and wound vacsConduct ABI/TBI assessments and interpret resultsPerform abscess incision and drainagePerform wound biopsies and exposed bone core needle biopsiesApply Total Contact Casting (TCC) and other offloading techniquesDeliver trauma-informed care throughout all patient interactionsStabilize and coordinate urgent referrals for acute complications Collaboration & Documentation Collaborate with vascular surgery, podiatry, general surgery, plastics, and hospital teamsUtilize remote collaborating physicians and telespecialists for real-time clinical consultationMaintain detailed, accurate procedural and clinical documentation via EMRWhat You BringActive, unrestricted NP or PA license in Minnesota (required) Wound, Ostomy and Continence (WOC) certification (required) DEA registration (must obtain before start) BLS certification (required) ACLS certification (preferred, not required) High-level experience managing chronic and complex wounds independentlyStrong procedural competency and comfort performing bedside interventions with minimal oversightExperience managing high-risk diabetic and vascular wound patientsSound clinical judgment and confidence practicing in remote, rural environmentsComfort collaborating with remote physicians via teleconsultation modelsGenuine commitment to serving rural and underserved communitiesInnovative mindset and drive to continuously improve the systems and environments you work inSchedule & Location2 3 days per week, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM6-month contract minimumMobile clinic based out of Foley, MNStart: ASAP through September 2026Why This RoleThis organization was built around a simple but powerful belief that rural communities deserve the same quality of specialty care as anyone else.
