This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and profitable project delivery from award through closeout.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Client RelationsServe as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and accountsBuild and maintain long-term client relationships to support repeat businessIdentify additional service and project opportunities within existing accountsAddress client concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional mannerSupport business development efforts through client engagement and referralsProject Management & ExecutionManage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeoutDevelop project schedules, manpower plans, and material procurement strategiesCoordinate with field supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and vendorsMonitor project costs, labor productivity, and schedules to ensure profitabilityManage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentationConduct job meetings with clients, general contractors, and internal teamsFinancial & Contract ManagementReview and manage contracts, scopes of work, and project budgetsTrack job cost reports and forecast project financial performancePrepare and negotiate change orders and extrasEnsure timely billing, progress payments, and project closeoutSafety, Quality & ComplianceEnforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements on assigned projectsEnsure work complies with NEC, local codes, and project specificationsSupport quality control efforts and final inspectionsCollaboration & Internal CoordinationWork closely with estimating, operations, and sales teams for project handoffSupport pre-construction efforts including budgeting and schedulingParticipate in process improvement initiatives and best practice developmentQualifications5–10+ years of experience in electrical constructionProven experience in project management and client-facing rolesStrong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and NECExperience managing multiple projects simultaneouslySolid understanding of job costing, scheduling, and labor managementProficiency with construction management software (e.g., AccuBid, Bluebeam, MS Project)Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsJourneyman or Master Electrician licenseBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fieldExperience in service work, tenant improvements, or design-build projectsOSHA 30 certificationWork EnvironmentAbility to visit active construction sites and walk uneven terrainOccasionally lifting up to 50 lbsCombination of office and field-based work.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and holiday pay.Opportunities for professional development and certification assistance.Equal Employment Opportunity:Upchurch Companies provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
