This role requires operating a rollback (flatbed tow) truck, ensuring proper securement of loads, and maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a rollback truck to transport tanks, fuel equipment, and related materialsSafely load and unload equipment using winches, straps, chains, and other securement devicesPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT requirementsEnsure all loads are properly secured and compliant with safety regulationsDeliver equipment to customer sites while maintaining a high level of customer serviceAssist with placement and basic setup of tanks and equipment when requiredMaintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and required documentationCommunicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams regarding schedules and delivery statusAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standardsMaintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicleQualificationsValid CDL (Class A or B) preferred (or as required by vehicle weight)Clean driving record with the ability to meet company insurance requirementsPrevious experience operating rollback, flatbed, or similar equipment preferredKnowledge of DOT regulations and safety complianceAbility to operate winches and securement equipment safelyStrong attention to detail and safety awarenessGood communication and customer service skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbsFrequent climbing, bending, and standingAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsWork ScheduleMonday through Friday; occasional weekends as neededHours may vary based on delivery schedules and operational needsAdditional RequirementsMust pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screeningCompliance with all safety and regulatory requirements is mandatory
