Mon-Thursday 930am-3/5pm patient dependant 1 hr lunch Staffing Mix: Number of Hygiene Columns/Hygienists on Staff: 1 hygenist works tue wed and thurs • # of Hygiene checks per day or per column? 1-5 per day. Do mostly dentures Number of Dental Assistants on Staff: 2 assistants • Are any of them EFDA s/CDA s/EDDA s/CPFDA/CRFDA s? NA been there 3-4 years well experienced ? (See Key for acronym breakdown) • How many years has the most tenured Dental Assistant been there? 4 ? The longer the better, dentists like having someone already intimately familiar with the office to refer to for questions like where materials are, etc. General Clinical Information: • # of chairs/operatories: 2 operative chairs 2 more basic chairs (to put in dentures/ partials deliveries of denture chairs, also 1 chair in the hygiene room • Patients per day (not including Hygiene Checks): 2-3 patients will come in to take impressions- lab tech works on those to make dentures or partials, during that time see 5-6 patients pulling teeth, crowns, etc. 9-10:30 denture patients 10-12 doing restorative or pulling teeth, 1 hr lunch , do more restorative or pull teeth, 3-4 back to working on dentures. Anywhere from 8-15 patients. Will get additional flow for denture adjustments -staff handles you dentist checks.
