Job Type Fulltime Category Clinical Salary Base Rate $24.21-$25.29, Depending on experience Contract Type Permanent Job Description Performs diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary system to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disorders. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Job Requirements Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Program Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS/NRP) to be obtained within 2 months of hire Clinical Evaluation and assessment skills are required for all age groups of patients served by the facility including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. One year supervisory experience preferred but not required. Experience Extensive experience in and possessing a strong understanding of all areas of Respiratory Care including but not limited to diagnostic testing, therapeutics, monitoring, rehabilitation, home care, and patient, family, and public education.
