Employer contributions cover the cost of care, so you can focus on your job while your child participates in a safe, structured, and engaging program, all without needing to arrange outside care.About the RoleHealthy Kids Programs is seeking amotivated HR Generalist with at least 1 year of HR experienceto lead employee engagement initiatives, benefits administration, HR operations, and compliance in our Fishkill, NY office. Thison-site roleoffers opportunities todeliver presentations, lead training sessions, and engage directly with employees and managers. You’ll gain hands-on experience across all HR functions while advancing your HR career in asupportive, people-first organization.KeyResponsibilities Lead employee engagement initiatives through surveys, communications, and check-ins Conduct monthly benefits education sessions, virtual orientations, and HR workshops Administer benefits for new hires, life events, and open enrollment Oversee the company Handbook and policies Manage leave requests and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA) Independently support employee relations matters, including conflicts, performance concerns, and disciplinary actions Administer HRIS/HRIMS systems (Paylocity, ADP, Paychex, or similar) by creating and updating employee records, processing onboarding/offboarding and role changes, managing workflows and approvals, generating reports, and configuring system settings Support managers on HR operations, performance management, and documentation Generate HR reports for compliance and organizational decision-making RequirementsEducation & Qualifications Minimum 1 year of HR experience, generalist experience preferred.
