Loss Prevention Specialist

Position Overview: Join our team as a Loss Prevention Specialist and play a vital role in safeguarding our company’s assets. Your primary focus will be to prevent financial loss due to theft and fraud while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental programs across assigned stores. You will leverage advanced tools and techniques to minimize losses, which include: Identifying instances of theft and fraud. Reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports. Monitoring physical security measures in the store. Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance systems. Fostering a culture that prioritizes loss reduction. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing thorough and accurate case reports documenting your apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, collaborating with law enforcement, and possibly testifying in criminal and civil court proceedings. You will also need to: Report any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty. Execute your duties in a manner that reduces injury risk to yourself, fellow associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. Exhibit integrity in all interactions. Address asset protection and operational concerns raised by associates. Maintain focus on store-specific business objectives while supporting core asset protection functions.
