Job Title: LandscaperLocation: Lake Fayette Park - Oak Thicket and Park Prairie, TexasPosition Summary:Lake Fayette Park is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Landscaper to help maintain and enhance the natural beauty of both the Oak Thicket and Park Prairie units. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a passion for nature and landscaping, and thrives in a team environment. Prior landscaping experience is preferred but not required.Key Responsibilities:Perform groundskeeping duties including mowing, edging, trimming, and mulchingPlant, water, and maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees throughout the parkAssist with erosion control, trail upkeep, and invasive plant removalOperate landscaping tools and light equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)Maintain clean and safe public areas including picnic areas, trails, and shorelineCollaborate with maintenance and park staff to meet seasonal and project goalsQualifications:Prior landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferredAbility to safely operate and maintain landscaping equipmentMust be able to work in varying outdoor conditions (heat, humidity, etc.)Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual laborStrong teamwork skills and a willingness to follow directionDependable, self-motivated, and respectful of park guests and natural areasWork Environment:This position is physically demanding and requires working outdoors in natural park settings.
