Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and Cerner EMR familiarity, with floating between two med/surg units. Job Details • Med/Surg setting across two units: Floor 1 and Floor 4, with a combined scope covering orthopedic, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patients, • Unit has 36 beds with a patient ratio of 1:5-7 depending on acuity, • Night shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, • Floating required between the two Med/Surg units, • EMR: Cerner, • 13-week contract, Job Requirements • Active MO RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand, • Current BLS certification required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date, • Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required, • Cerner EMR experience preferred, • No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months, • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position, Additional Information • Provides nursing care across a diverse med/surg population including orthopedic, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patients, • Scrub color: Royal Blue, • RTO is capped at 36 hours per contract; individual RTO requests must be less than one week in duration, • May be required to work Easter, Mother's Day, or Memorial Day, • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position, • No interviews - this position is auto-offer only
