HVAC Installer

Description We're looking for a detail-oriented, experienced, and licensed HVAC installation technician to join our company. You'll be responsible for visiting homes and businesses, assessing blueprints, codes, and manuals to install a variety of HVAC equipment. You'll also be asked to install heating, cooling, indoor air quality, refrigerant, and control systems. ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do: • Lead residential system replacements and new installations • Ensure installs meet company quality standards and local codes • Train and mentor install helpers or junior team members • Maintain clean work areas and respect customer homes • Communicate clearly with the office and homeowners • Maintain records of completed projects and parts used • Use electrical testing equipment to check electrical circuits and components • Attach pipes or tubing from the fuel, water, or refrigerant source to HVAC equipment • Set up all heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems • Advise clients on how to properly maintain their new equipment Qualifications • 5+ years of HVAC installation experience • Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections • Certification or associate's degree from an HVAC program at a technical school and 2+ years as an HVAC installation technician • Applicant must have all required local and state appliance HVAC tech licenses • High school diploma or GED required • Excellent math, people, and problem-solving skills
