Network Adjusters is seeking experienced Claims Adjusters to handle Bodily Injury and Property Damage losses at our offices located in Farmingdale, NY and Denver, CO. This role focuses on the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of complex commercial bodily injury and property damage claims while delivering consistent, high-quality claims management in alignment with industry best practices.This position offers the opportunity to work within a trusted organization committed to integrity, reliability, and professional development through ongoing training and growth opportunities.About the RoleBodily Injury and/or Property Claims Adjusters are responsible for managing commercial bodily injury and/or property damage claims from inception through closure. Claims may include complex commercial auto and general liability exposures with higher severity and specialization. In this role, you will investigate losses, analyze policy language, evaluate damages, negotiate settlements, and handle litigated matters while exercising a high level of independent judgment.Adjusters routinely take statements, review medical records and police reports, collaborate with legal counsel when necessary, and ensure all claim activity complies with state-specific regulations and Network Adjusters' quality standards and Best Claims Practices. This is a desk-based roleResponsibilitiesHandle complex Commercial Auto and General Liability bodily injury and/or property damage claims from inception to closureInvestigate, evaluate, negotiate, and manage claims involving higher severity and exposureProvide superior customer service to insureds, claimants, carrier clients, and internal stakeholdersConduct comprehensive interviews, secure statements, and gather evidence from claimants, witnesses, medical providers, and law enforcement agenciesAnalyze insurance contracts and policy language to determine coverage applicabilityReview medical records, police reports, and related documentation to evaluate injuries and liabilityEstablish, monitor, and adjust reserve requirements throughout the life of the claimDetermine settlement values using independent judgment, applicable limits, deductibles, and collaboration with legal counsel when necessaryHandle litigated matters and negotiate settlements within assigned authorityPrepare professional written correspondence summarizing coverage analysis and claim decisionsCommunicate claim decisions and sensitive developments with clarity, confidence, and empathyMaintain accurate, up-to-date claim files, diaries, and documentationEnsure compliance with applicable regulations and Network Adjusters' quality standards and Best Claims PracticesQualificationsMinimum 3 years of claims handling experience in either bodily injury or property damage claimsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and standard business softwareStrong customer service skills with demonstrated empathyAdvanced analytical, investigative, negotiation, and decision-making abilitiesExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage complex workloadsHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to maintain confidentialityCollege or technical degree, or equivalent business experience preferredAbility to obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses, including continuing educationKnowledge of the security industry and/or rideshare industry is beneficialBilingual proficiency preferred but not requiredCompensation & BenefitsSalary: Starting from $70,000+ annually (based on licensure, certifications, and experience)Training, development, and career growth opportunities401(k) with company match and retirement planningPaid time off and company-paid holidaysComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Company-paid life insurance and long-term disabilitySupplemental life insurance and optional short-term disabilityStrong work/family and employee assistance programsEmployee referral programLocationsFarmingdale, NY and Denver, COThis role is on-site only; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.About Network AdjustersFounded in 1958, Network Adjusters has built a reputation as a leading provider of insurance claims administration and independent adjusting services.
