Controller Farmingdale, NY Our client is a mid-sized, successful and well-established manufacturing company. They are looking to hire a talented Controller to manage the general accounting, cost accounting and reporting for the company. They are looking for someone with prior Controller level experience within a manufacturing company, preferably in the defense, aerospace, electronics manufacturing space. This role requires working fully onsite and offering a salary in the range of $180,000 - $200,000. In addition, they offer a strong benefits package inclusive of health insurance, 401k with match, tuition assistance and a generous PTO program. Responsibilities of the position include: • You will manage day-to-day accounting for the company • Oversee a team of three • Evaluate current processes, offer improvement ideas • Heavy involvement in month-end close, workpapers, etc. • Assist outside auditors with year-end audits Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting • 15+ years of accounting experience required, CPA license is a plus • Experience in the aerospace, defense and/or electronics manufacturing field a must • 5+ years of management experience required • Strong systems skills • Top notch organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across the company • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with company executives If you would like to be considered for this opportunity or any other position posted by LHH, please email your resume to Erik.Hansen@ lhh.com or you can visit our web site at .
