DakotaDrivers make anywhere between 7-8 stops per dayLevel of Touch: Unloading Freight at each drop-off locationDelivering and down stacking product in-store via dolly or hand truckEquipmentLate model 48' automatic reefersPallet Jack/Hand DollyLift gates - rear and side - 100% lift gates, no ramps!Additional ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional customer service and maintain accurate delivery recordsPerform deliveries solo or with a teamNavigate various delivery conditions (cold, rain, snow, heat) and maneuver vehicles in difficult situations, such as narrow passageways.Unloads/loads product at store with assistance from store personnel.May be required to perform product backhaul when returning from dispatched route. Follow all DOT safety and compliance standards, including pre and post-trip inspections and maintaining driver records/logs.QualificationsMust have a valid CDL A license and current DOT Medical card.Must be at least 21 years of ageMust have minimum of 1 year driving tractor-trailer experienceHigh school diploma or GED preferredNo more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 yearsMust be able to frequently lift/handle cases ranging from 5-75 pounds.Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs and deliver in all weatherMust be able to handle packaged Chicken, Beef, or Pork productsNo DUI/DWIs in last 10 yearsMust meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulationsMust be able to pass a MVR, pre-employment drug screen and background checkMust be able to work holidays, nights, and weekends if neededMust be team player effectively communicate to maintain positive customer relations climate with other drivers/warehouse personnel/customers/supervisors.
