Facility Manager - Agribusiness

OverviewThe Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and safety of agricultural production facilities. This role ensures all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure operate efficiently to support continuous production and compliance with regulatory and company standards.Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day facility operations across production, processing, and support areas Oversee building systems including HVAC (boiler expertise required), electrical, plumbing, irrigation, and environmental controls Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and manage external vendors and contractors Ensure facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements Lead facility improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure expansions Collaborate with operations, production, and engineering teams to support business growth Qualifications 3-10+ years of experience in facilities management, industrial operations, or agribusiness environments Strong knowledge of building systems, environmental controls, and industrial equipment Experience managing vendors, maintenance teams, and capital projects Familiarity with OSHA, local building codes, and environmental regulations Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience Experience in controlled-environment agriculture, manufacturing, or industrial facilities
