This role is a full-time, contract role and will be on-site in Fairview, NC. Some travel to the Arden, NC will be required.Positions will work and train on first shift, 7am-330pm, Monday-Friday.What You'll DoPerform facilities maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks in support of assigned areaMaintains a clean and safe work environment, performing all work in accordance with established local and corporate safety proceduresMust be able to complete Certification of, LOTO, and DOT Hazardous Materials, Forklift trainingHas knowledge of chemicals and safety associated with their use and storageWorks independently to achieve team goals and directives• Effectively communicates needed repairs and tasks to appropriate channelsWorks closely with maintenance personnel to develop, fabricate, and assemble equipment modifications of a less complex nature, making recommendations to improve design and eliminate possible functional problemsPerforms routine maintenance to deionized water systems, centrifuges, evaporators, mist eliminators, tank filters, heat exchangers, pumps, tank cleaning, exhaust duct cleaning/inspection, plumbing repairs, etcPerforms scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipmentPerform inspections, diagnosis, and repairs as needed, to ensure equipment is functioning safely and at maximum efficiencyInspects mechanical parts such as bearings, belts, shafts springs, cams, and clutches for wear, damage, or dimensional chances using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instrumentsReplaces and modifies new or used parts, working from blueprints, operation manuals, manufacturer’s specifications, or from referencing other broken and worn partsWhat You'll NeedRequiredAssociates degree or formal certifications in electrical or mechanical OR High School Diploma-GED + minimum 1 year experienceUnderstanding wiring, circuits, and electrical system repairsTroubleshooting and fixing pipes, fixtures, and water systemsKnowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systemsSkilled use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentAbility to follow instructions and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Ability to diagnose, repair and maintain equipmentBasic computer and data entry skills.Good communication skillsMust be proficient in English languagePhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift a minimum of 45 lbs. safely & dependablyMust be able to carry a minimum weight of 45 lbs. safely & dependablyMust be able to push a minimum of 80 lbs. safely & dependablyMust be able to pull a minimum of 80 lbs. safely & dependablyConstant standing and frequent walking is required in this jobReasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 – 8111.$24.00 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above.
