Yard Loader Position Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Fairmont, MN. We are seeking candidates for Yard Loader roles. This company is a leading manufacturer of high-performance thermoplastic corrugated pipe and ancillary products, providing a comprehensive suite of water management products and superior drainage solutions for use in the construction and infrastructure marketplace. Their innovative pipes, fittings, basins, and other products are used across a broad range of end markets and applications, including non-residential, residential, agriculture, and infrastructure applications. What a Yard Loader will do: Maintain a safe working environment that includes the consistent use of PPE to ensure your safety Safely operate a forklift and conduct preventative maintenance on forklifts and other machines in the plant Ensure quality by conducting final visual inspections and labeling all finished goods Promote good customer service skills when loading and unloading deliveries while minimizing errors Ensure proper product rotation and tracking of inventory levels Stay current on pipe specifications and packaging requirements What you need to be a Yard Loader: High School Diploma or equivalent Self-motivated and the ability to work independently Basic inventory management skills Knowledge and ability to operate a forklift Basic mathematical skills Previous warehouse, industrial, or manufacturing experience Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations Benefits include 401K eligibility after 3 months of employment with a match of 4%; 3 weeks of vacation (accrues weekly) plus 8 paid holidays; Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance; tuition reimbursement of up to $1,500 per year; $100 towards prescription safety eyewear and $250 yearly towards safety shoes; $50,000 life insurance policy and long-term disability; and weekly paychecks on Fridays.
