A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the upcoming school year beginning August 3rd in Fairbury, NE. This role involves supporting a caseload of over 900 students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade within a school district setting. Key responsibilities include: Administering and interpreting psycho-educational evaluations in accordance with Nebraska Rule 51 to determine student eligibility for special education services. Leading problem-solving initiatives through the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) at various levels including district, building, and individual student. Conducting Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and collaborating with Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to develop tailored intervention strategies. Providing consultation to educators, parents, and administrators on topics related to child development, mental health, and classroom management. Offering individual and group counseling services for students with behavioral or emotional needs. Qualifications: Valid Nebraska Department of Education certificate with a K-12 School Psychologist Field Endorsement is required.
