This paid position offers opportunities for growth, mentorship, and the chance to showcase your diverse skills in hair styling, nail care, eyelash extensions, and more.DutiesPerform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing using advanced techniques like hair extensions and balayage.Provide expert barbering services such as straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic cuts with precision.Apply makeup and eyelash extensions to enhance clients' natural beauty while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.Offer personalized consultations on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail upselling to boost client satisfaction and store revenue.Maintain a clean, sanitized work environment adhering to all health regulations; perform sanitation procedures after each service.Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, retail math calculations, and customer service excellence.Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling inquiries professionally.QualificationsValid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in diverse hair services.Proficiency in advanced styling techniques such as hair extensions, color application based on color theory principles, and nail care basics.Strong communication skills to engage clients effectively and understand their needs clearly.Experience with salon management software like MINDBODY is preferred but not required; training will be provided.Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a safe salon environment.Ability to perform retail sales with confidence through upselling complementary products like hair care items or makeup.Demonstrated skill in customer service with a friendly attitude that fosters repeat business and client loyalty.
