CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT Everett, WAAn established Advanced Primary Care Clinic is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team.Overview of Responsibilities:Collaborate 1-1 with providers to deliver high-quality patient care.Perform clinical rooming, including taking vitals and patient history.Manage phlebotomy duties, lab draws, urine samples, and urine dips.Administer vaccines and manage medication refills, including pulling medications and printing labels.Perform daily clinic spot checks, including freezer temperature monitoring and testing logs.Handle administrative tasks such as referral follow-ups and patient review.Manage a patient volume of approximately 20-35 patients daily.Schedule/Shift:Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.Saturday hours: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM.Flexible 40-hour work week with start times varying between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.Saturdays are rotated (potential for only one Saturday per month).Comprehensive 4-week training and onboarding program provided.Requirements:Active CMA Certification with the Washington Department of Health (DOH).Current BLS Certification.1-2+ years of experience within Primary Care or Internal Medicine.Strong phlebotomy skills with experience performing blood draws.Recent EMR experience.High level of reliability and strong emotional intelligence.Additional Skills:Experience with Athena EMR.Strong focus on customer service and patient outcomes.Ability to work effectively in a team-driven environment.BenefitsPaid Sick Time Offered (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances; WA - 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked) Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix Offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
