Job Description:
Human Resources Manager This position works closely with team members throughout the organization to foster a positive work environment, drive HR initiatives, and align HR strategies with company goals. This is an onsite, salaried position with primarily M-F, 1st shift hours. Duties and Responsibilities Employee Relations & Performance Management Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including coaching, conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Partner with managers to address performance concerns and ensure consistent application of policies and practices. Conduct internal investigations and document findings in compliance with employment law and company standards. Support employee engagement and retention initiatives. Recruitment & Onboarding Lead full-cycle recruitment for non-exempt positions, including sourcing, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination. Partner with hiring managers to identify workforce needs and ensure timely staffing. Maintain candidate tracking and ensure compliance with equal employment opportunity standards. Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes. Policy Development & Compliance Administer HR policies and procedures and assist in the development and implementation of updates as needed. Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations. Maintain accurate employee records in accordance with legal requirements. Support internal audits and compliance reporting activities. HR Operations & Reporting Maintain data integrity within the HRIS and generate reports for leadership as needed. Analyze HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and time-to-fill to support decision-making. Participate in the development of department goals, objectives, and systems. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. 35 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing setting, including employee relations and hourly employee recruitment. Experience and comfort with conducting workplace investigations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (preferably UKG). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
