A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist ready to contribute to a busy, high-volume pharmacy environment. Position Highlights: Location: Espanola, NM (work site is in Los Alamos, NM) Shift: Flexible start times at 8:30 or 9:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Pharmacy hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM; Saturdays 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM System utilized: Pioneer Pharmacy volume: Approximately 600 prescriptions daily Key Responsibilities: Supervise and oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow efficiency Deliver exceptional customer service and provide thorough patient counseling Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only, no compounding required) Maintain accuracy and compliance in all dispensing activities within a fast-paced setting Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active, clear New Mexico Pharmacist License required Experience or familiarity with non-sterile compounding is advantageous Background in high-volume pharmacy operations is a plus Recent graduates are encouraged to apply, with opportunities for mentorship and growth This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists seeking to work in a dynamic retail environment with flexible scheduling and the potential to become a permanent team member.
