What you will do as a Railcar Repair Technician: Maintain repair or maintenance records Repair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts Inspect train cars and tankers to determine overall condition Inspect completed work to ensure proper functioning Measure distances or dimensions Seal gaps or cracks to prevent leakage or moisture intrusion What you need to be a Railcar Repair Technician: High school diploma or equivalent Basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair experience Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Gain great experience... apply today!
