UPMC Hamot is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to support variable day and evening shifts with occasional nights; every third weekend and rotating holidays required. Preferred candidates bring acute care hospital experience, familiarity with EPIC EHR, and strong clinical communication and problem-solving skills. In this role, there is opportunity to: + Interpret and evaluate physician orders and prescriptions accurately + Identify and report adverse drug reactions in a timely manner + Sustain formulary integrity via therapeutic interchange and rational drug use + Review patient medication profiles for allergies, interactions, and duplications + Organize daily operations and support pharmacy staff supervision + Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify medication orders + Provide drug information and educational sessions to staff and students + Utilize EPIC and other systems to document and verify medication use + Prepare and dispense intravenous admixtures using aseptic techniques + Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards Required + Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy + B.S in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree + Current licensure as a Pharmacist in practicing stateLicensure, Certifications, and Clearances: + Pharmacist + Act 34 UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
