Position: Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) Location: Erie, PA Employment Type: Full-Time Travel: 60-70% (local travel to nursing homes and healthcare facilities)Position OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) to provide comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care for patients with limb loss, disabilities, and musculoskeletal conditions. This role focuses on patient evaluation, custom device design and fitting, and ongoing clinical support to enhance mobility and independence.Key Responsibilities • Evaluate patients through assessments and clinical consultations • Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom prosthetic and orthotic devices • Provide follow-up care and device modifications for optimal comfort and function • Educate patients on proper use and maintenance of devices • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and rehabilitation teams • Maintain accurate documentation and coding compliance • Stay current with new technologies and clinical best practices • Travel to care sites, including nursing homes and healthcare facilitiesQualifications • ABC or BOC Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) • State licensure (or ability to obtain) • 2-3+ years of prosthetic and orthotic clinical experience preferred • Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, gait analysis, and Medicare criteria • Excellent communication and patient care skills • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team • Experience with CAD/CAM or design software is a plusEducation • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics (CAAHEP-accredited program) • Completion of an NCOPE-accredited residencyFor more details, you can reach Marcello Zeller at (972)-587-0435 or marcello.zeller@
