PRODUCTION OPERATOR - 2nd ShiftUnited Rotary Brush is an Olathe, Kansas based manufacturer of specialty industrial brushes for the airport, road construction, street sweeping and plow industries. Our Olathe, KSmanufacturing facility (I-35 & Old 56 Hwy) is looking for a Production Operator for 2nd shift. Those that desire to help drive a safe, quality focused, production environment will thrive at United Rotary Brush Corporation.Work 40 hours / $2.00 shift premiumPRODUCTION OPERATOR - Open Shift2nd shift: Monday - Thursday 4:20 pm - 2:50 amPRODUCTION OPERATOR JOB SUMMARYParticipate in line setup and production of high-volumebrushes and brooms. Ensure machines are operating effectively and efficiently and that production needs are met through daily production efforts. Operate machines and perform light maintenance and cleaning. Perform work that is within safety and quality guidelines.PRODUCTION OPERATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAdhere to all safety procedures and company polices at all times, in all actionsProduce, package, and label all product to quality and manufacturing specifications at required production rates.Clean and maintain equipment in work area during and at the end of each shift.PRODUCTION OPERATOR QUALIFICATIONSRequires a high school diploma or its equivalent work experience.Manufacturing experience.Knowledge of production procedures with ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.Problem identification and solving skills.Ability and judgement to interact and communicate appropriately with other employees.Regular attendance and ability to be at work regularly and on time is essential.EOE/Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled.
