Senior AI Solutions Architect - OAI

Unison Systems is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Architect to join our client's team in Denver, CO.This is an onsite contract role (5 days/week, 8 AM-5 PM MST) through year-end. The position reports to Director/VP level and offers competitive compensation for the Denver market.Responsibilities:Design end-to-end enterprise AI architectures that connect data, models, APIs, and user experiences across CRM, contact center, workforce management, field service, and customer operations platformsCreate shared decisioning and GenAI services including Next Best Offer/Action, agent assistance, retrieval-augmented generation, and rules engines to ensure consistent logic across channelsArchitect AI solutions that augment human decision-making, with clear mechanisms for agents and supervisors to accept, adjust, or override recommendationsDesign personalization, agent assistance, and conversational AI solutions (IVR, voicebots, chatbots, digital messaging) across voice, chat, digital, and field channelsDefine data models, semantic layers, and KPIs to establish a single source of truth for analytics and AIEnsure secure, compliant data pipelines with robust monitoring for performance, drift, cost, and responsible AI practices including fairness and explainabilityAlign peer architects across business units on common AI patterns and platformsPartner with Product, PMO, and delivery teams to translate architecture into epics, user stories, and agile executionCommunicate complex AI architectures to C-suite and executive stakeholders through clear visuals and narrativesMentor engineers, analysts, and architects on enterprise-grade, reusable AI patternsRequirements:8+ years of solution architecture, software engineering, or data engineering experience4+ years delivering production AI/ML or advanced analytics solutionsStrong proficiency in machine learning, NLP, conversational AI, and GenAI; agentic frameworks preferredExperience designing enterprise-scale APIs, microservices, and distributed systems at Fortune 100 scaleHands-on proficiency with Python, .NET, Java, SQL, Scala, and modern cloud-native patterns (containers, Kubernetes, serverless, event-driven architectures)Demonstrated experience across Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform including data and AI servicesExpertise with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Redshift; experience building large-scale batch and streaming pipelinesStrong data engineering fundamentals including data modeling, performance tuning, and governanceExceptional communication skills and proven ability to influence and drive decisions in matrixed enterprise environmentsStrategic mindset with the ability to define AI roadmaps and execute cross-functionallyExperience in telecom, cable, broadband, or high-volume contact center environments is a plusFamiliarity with CCaaS platforms (Genesys, Five9, Amazon Connect, NICE, Cisco) is a plusAdvanced degree in Data Science, AI/ML, or related field is preferredRelevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or AI/GenAI certifications are a plusUnison Systems is Colorado's leading IT staffing and engineering consulting firm - apply today and let us put our 27 years of expertise to work for you.
