What You Can Expect Paragon 28, a Zimmer Biomet enterprise specializing in orthopedic medical devices for the foot and ankle, is looking for an EHS Specialist to join our energetic team in Englewood, Colorado. In this vital role, you will ensure compliance with all EHS standards and regulations set by local, state, federal, and corporate guidelines, particularly those established by OSHA, EPA, and FDA/cGMP. You will also have the chance to cultivate a proactive safety culture among our employees and contractors. How You'll Create Impact Provide expert advice to management on compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and corporate EHS regulations. Conduct regular EHS inspections and facility-wide safety assessments. Develop and oversee essential EHS programs such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Machine Guarding, and others. Create and document Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Ergonomic Assessments to mitigate injury risks. Lead sustainability initiatives to foster environmental responsibility. Design and deliver comprehensive EHS training sessions for all team members. Monitor and report EHS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and compliance data to company leadership. Assist in formulating and updating EHS procedures and educational materials. Coordinate a Safety Committee to enhance the engagement of EHS programs across our site. Administer the Environmental Risk Management System Program. Participate actively in equipment installations and process design. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Your Background Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. At least 2 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a regulated industry. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. In-depth knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations. Able to deliver impactful presentations for effective training. Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, or OHST are a plus. OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification preferred. Work Environment This position will involve working in both an office and warehouse setting, utilizing standard office equipment. Physical Demands The role requires frequent communication and close visual acuity for tasks such as computer work and report verification. Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. may be necessary. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position with standard business hours, which may include additional hours as needed. Travel Expectations Occasional travel of up to 10% may be required. Compensation Data Salary Range: $56,000 - $75,000 USD annually, dependent on skills and experience. EOE
