We employ people who are passionately committed to Cornerstone's Mission, Vision & Core Convictions.We honor God by using our talents to make a positive difference in the lives of our Team Members, Clients, Shareholders, Communities, and the People who provide services to us.Who we are looking for:The Cash Research Assistant will be responsible for ensuring all Cash research items are completed timely and if posting corrections are needed, they are processed accurately, and the proper notification is provided to the requires.Location: Onsite daily in Englewood, COCompensation: $20-28/hrKey Responsibilities:Responsible for monitoring and assigning tasks to ensure they are worked timely and accuratelyResearch payment issues and respond accordinglyPrepare daily system balancing to ensure accuracy and escalate any discrepancies to managementResponsible for balancing the Cash Database daily to ensure items posted are deposited; also ensure items are escalated prior to being agedPost payments, payoffs, and liquidationsCollaborate with other business units to streamline processes and work together to provide a better customer experienceComplete special projects as assignedWhat you'll need to be successful:Some College/associate degree preferred, High School graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience2 - 5 years of experience working in a Mortgage Servicing is requiredPrevious bankruptcy experience preferredMSP Experience is preferredAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while still being detailed and results orientedEffective verbal, and written communicatorMust be disciplined and well organized with attention to detailComfortable working in a team environmentMinimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc.) with a technical understanding of imaging software and systemsWhat we offer:Because we recognize and reward hard work, we offer a competitive salary, a full benefits package, and the potential for a performance-based bonus.What to do next:If Cornerstone sounds like the place for you (and if you have the qualifications, drive, and passion to match), we invite you to become a member of our winning team!
