Project Finance plans, controls, and reports program performance relating to cost and schedule according to the Earned Value Management System. Responsibilities for this position include providing financial analytic support to our customer's programs; which includes financial monitoring and reporting, forecasting, cost estimating and establishing executable budgets; while maintaining compliance with established business standards, and accounting principles. This position will be performed in a hybrid remote work format, with the individual splitting their time between our offices in Endicott NY (13901 N Street) and remotely from an alternate working location. Our Endicott site follows a '9/80' work schedule, wherein most employees are off every other Friday. A Hybrid arrangement would have the employee working 3 days on-site, and 2 days remote during the 'long' weeks, and 2 days on-site, 2 days remote on the 'short' weeks. To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must currently reside within a commutable distance of our Endicott, NY offices. Due to the requirement of on-site work, candidates requiring relocation will not be considered. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include: Develops program plans and performance measurement reports which satisfy company and customer requirements for program status and cost collection. Utilizes program planning systems to monitor performance. Identifies implication of schedule variances and suggests appropriate work-around recovery plans. Utilizes and adapts automated data collection and reporting systems and techniques to monitor program spending against the plan and current forecast. Revises forecasts to reflect variances. Analyzes program status and prepares data to provide up-to-date Estimates to Complete (ETC) and Estimates at Completion (EAC). Forecasts all program salients including orders, sales, profit, cash flow, manpower and facilities requirements. Ensures accurate compilation of program data in the business unit forecast. Analyzes and revises program EAC when changes occur, along with monitoring risks and opportunities, and present changes to leadership. Works cross functionally with other team members Perform monthly closing journal entries. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
