Job#: 3027906 Job Description: Apex Systems has an exciting Laboratory Technician opportunity with our client in Eminence, KY. Responsibilities: * Use micrometers, calipers and other precision measuring equipment. * Operate various pieces of equipment and machinery (band saw, router, mill) * Knowledgeable on accuracy, precision, limitations, applicability, standards, and calibrations. * Follows and understands Quality System procedures and protocols. * Collect and perform data entry for completed tests into various databases * Experience with Microsoft Office * Check equipment for correct operation and report malfunctions to supervision. * Perform calibrations and check calibrations, as needed. * Analyze samples, evaluate results and respond appropriately. * Prepare, label and store samples and materials appropriately. * Identify problems that need service from an outside source. * duties.
