Title: A&T Technician (Assembly & Test Technician) Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00/hr (DOE) Employment Type: Contract Schedule: Full-time, 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) Location: Elma, NY - 300 Jamison Rd (Plant 11) FAA: No FAA safety-sensitive requirements Job Overview Tekberry is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly & Test Technician (A&T Technician) to support manufacturing operations for our client, a global leader in aerospace and precision motion control technologies. This role performs mechanical and electrical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of hydraulic components and assemblies supporting both production and repair activities. This role operates within a team-based manufacturing environment and requires the ability to interpret technical documentation, follow detailed work instructions, and support testing operations on complex mechanical systems. Responsibilities Assembly Operations Perform hydraulic and electrical component assembly for complex mechanical systems. Use hand tools, torque equipment, and precision measuring instruments. Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and parts lists to assemble components. Testing & Troubleshooting Set up and perform operational testing on completed assemblies. Utilize hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic testing equipment. Diagnose test failures and assist with corrective actions or rework. Production Support Complete daily administrative and production documentation tasks. Collaborate with team members to support manufacturing schedules and delivery commitments. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team-based problem solving. Must-Have Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent training. 3-5 years of relevant technical or manufacturing experience. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Experience using hand tools and basic measuring equipment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or mechanical assembly environments. Experience using precision measurement tools. Familiarity with hydraulic or electro-mechanical systems. Work Environment Onsite manufacturing environment. 1st shift schedule. May occasionally support off-shift work depending on production needs.
