In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect the premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times.ResponsibilitiesPatrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibilityMonitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facilityEffectively communicate premise rules and regulations to all personnel and visitors to the propertyRequest emergency personnel for high-risk situations such as persons engaged in suspicious or criminal activityRespond to reports of suspicious activityReport on daily activities and any security incidentsQualificationsCurrent valid Georgia Driver's License with an excellent driving recordSix (6) months previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is requiredWilling to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain, snow, or heatHigh school diploma/GEDStrong understanding of public safety and security proceduresExcellent written communication skills and report writing abilityHigh level of integrity and professionalismAttention to detail and strong observational skillsAbility to work without direct supervisionAbility to work on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm or 10:00pm to 6:00am.Apex Sentry Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer
