Job SummaryWarehouse Material Handlers are responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving and shipping customer orders to ensure they are processed in a timely and secure manner. This position requires minimal forklift operation. Warehouse Material Handlers are given extensive training for success in their position. You will be expected to be fast-paced and attentive to detail, willing to work hard with a good attitude, and able to embrace change. If you work well in a team-centered environment and are passionate and ambitious about meeting goals and deadlines, then you have found the right place!SHIFT SCHEDULEMonday-Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PMStarting wage is $20.00/hr and a potential of up to $0.88 in raises every 6 monthsWe only accept W-2 candidates, H-1B sponsorship is not available.ResponsibilitiesCheck-in and put away incoming warehouse inventory.Packing orders to ensure that customers receive order intact in as short time frame and accurate as possible while maintaining quality and accuracy.Downsizing packaging so that shipping costs are minimal without sacrificing the quality and insurance that the product will be delivered without damages to the customerBill and ship completed orders to the customer with provided warehouse softwarePalletize and load finished shipments onto trailer with provided equipmentSafely operating and maintaining warehouse equipment to carry out job duties to ensure a safe work environmentCommunicating with warehouse supervisor with any issues or concerns that arise regarding work dutiesPerforming other duties and tasks not listed as requested by the supervisorPhysical RequirementsWork is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.Working EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.QualificationsExperience1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not requiredEducationThis role does not require a degree.
