Crew Lead

Position SummaryThe warehouse lead is responsible for overall distribution operations including receiving and shipping and supervising and evaluating employees' performance. Additional focus is to be placed on safety regulations along with the efficiency of each operator. The position requires excellent communication skills, leadership capabilities, and a strong attention to detail.Duties:Operate forklift for shipmentLoading and unloading materialsDismantle and dispose of A-framePrepare and execute shipping schedules (DTS, LTL, will-call)Communicate with consignees and carriers regarding the delivery scheduleManage and maintain forklift, propane gas, tools, wood and waste binsManage and maintain company truck (if)Maintain a clean and safe work environment in both office and warehouseRecord and manage shipment historyConduct inventory checks as scheduledReceive quotes and arrange shipment through third-party carriersUtilize systems such as WMS and TMSAid in building and security maintenance and repairRequirementsQualifications:Education and Work Experience:High school diplomaForklift experienceWarehouse laborer experience (2 years)Knowledge and Skills:OSHA 8Forklift Driver License for Anode 1Ability to speak/write/read Spanish and English preferredAdvanced forklift operating skillsCommunicationMS OfficeTime management and organizationAbility to multitask office and warehouse workAbility to work in a teamUtilization of PDAPhysical Demands:Position requires wearing steel-toe shoes, hardhat, vest, and gloves for safetyPosition requires minimal lifting up to 50 lbs.Position requires regular and reliable attendanceBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance Plan (100% Employer paid)401K Plan w/ Employer MatchLife Insurance Plan (100% Employer paid)Generous PTO, Paid Holiday, Floating HolidayEmployment Type: Full-Time, RegularLocation: Ellabell, GAWorking Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
