Clean facility with state-of-the-art technology Team-oriented, respectful, and employee-focused environment Position Overview:A leading manufacturing organization is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Customer Service Representative for either its Elkhorn, WI, Cicero, IL or Addison, IL facility.In this role, you will be responsible for taking and processing customer orders, ordering production materials and supplies, and promptly addressing customer inquiries and feedback. You will collaborate closely with project management, design, production, and sales teams to provide value-added solutions and ensure seamless order execution.This is not a call center role. This position functions as a key account coordination and customer service support role within a manufacturing environment, serving as the primary communication link between customers and internal teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery of orders.Position Responsibilities:Receive customer orders and order changes either directly from customers or from sales representatives, record, process, and place orders timely and accurately.Place orders for materials and supplies to be used in production on a timely basis.Analyze monthly usages and re-stocking per customer.Handle customer questions and feedback, follow-up with appropriate internal personnel as required.Manage and Maintain customer files.Process new items and purchase orders.Coordinate accounting credits.Record and distribute customer order changes.Email confirmations to customers.Assist sales personnel as appropriate to generate supplemental sales.Track warehouse items to ensure availability following minimum/maximum supplies levels.Internally track orders to help ensure on time deliveries, extreme follow through.Communicate with the sales representative if their customer is in jeopardy of being late with deliveries.Comply with all company policies, procedures, and required training within the specified times. Communicate with the sales representative on any potential late customer deliveries.Regular and predictable attendance required.Position Requirements:Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment Packaging, corrugated, paper, or similar industry experience strongly preferred Experience with systems such as Encore/Amtech, Savant, FOCUS, or Kiwi preferred Intermediate Excel skills required Strong written communication and business email etiquette High School Diploma or GED required College degree preferred but not requiredAbout Spark Talent Acquisition:Spark Talent Acquisition is a Michigan-headquartered recruiting and staffing company that connects great talent with great employers.
