DescriptionProvide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests. Take orders and prepare all menu items. Cook and prepare a variety of food products including meats, poultry, vegetables, sauces, and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils. Deliver orders and collect payment from customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Drivers will receive hourly pay as well as the opportunity to receive tips and mileage reimbursement per delivery. Drivers will also be expected to efficiently perform store cleaning and prep work tasks.Roles/Responsibilities/ExpectationsDeliver orders to customersCollect payment from delivery customersMaintain a clean driving recordMaintain a minimum of liability insurance on vehiclePrepare food and prep itemsHandle, store and rotate all products properlyReceive phone calls from customers and take ordersAccept payment, process credit card charges or make change accuratelyMemorize, record, and comprehend menu items and abbreviationsControls costs through inventory controlFollow standard recipesUnderstand and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and rules, policies and proceduresOperate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficientlyAdhere to all sanitation and food production codesMaintain a clean and sanitary work and service area including tables, shelves, walls, oven, and refrigeration equipmentClean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, appliances, and facilitiesOther tasks assigned by managementCooks are responsible for reporting tips for taxes on their ownRequirementsQualificationsNo previous restaurant experience requiredStrong attention to detailValid Driver's licenseHave use of a properly maintained, licensed, and street-legal vehicle capable of driving upwards of one hundred miles per dayBe capable of reading a map and interpreting GPS directionsPossess suitable communications skills to create a positive interaction experience with our customersAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work well in teamsBe at least 18 years or olderPossess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale systemBe able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 poundsDriver AgreementMust have liability coverage while driving for Elk River Pizza Man Corporation and that Elk River Pizza Man Corporation is not responsible for any physical damage to my vehicle. I understand the importance of safety and agree to the following safety policies while working:To obey all traffic laws at all times.To keep my car in safe working order and if it is not in good order, I understand that I can be taken off the road.To wear my safety belt at all times.To not eat or drink while driving.To place the pizza warmer bags and drinks in the prescribed area of the vehicle.To never drive after having consumed drugs or alcohol.No person other than on-the-job employees and authorized security personnel are permitted to ride in my delivery vehicle, either company owned or personal, while making deliveries.To bring my vehicle to a complete and safe stop any time I use a spotlight or lamp.I understand that if management requires that I take a driver's safety class, failure to do so may result in termination of my employment.When applicable, to use company delivery vehicles for business only. No company delivery vehicle is to be taken home overnight without prior manager approval.To notify Elk River Pizza Man Corporation when I have received a ticket or been arrested for any driving related offenses.To notify Elk River Pizza Man Corporation when my driving privileges have been suspended, revoked, or restricted.To notify Elk River Pizza Man Corporation when there has been any change in my car insurance.To promptly report to my manager any incident involving the use of a car while I am working, whether or not it results in any injury to any person or damage to any vehicle or other property, and regardless of who I believe is at fault.To always drive courteously and practice defensive driving techniques.To only drive the insured car(s) listed on my application or designated company vehicle unless prior approval has been obtained.
