Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 16-week night shift contract requiring prior travel experience, CT and Rad ARRT certifications, and Epic proficiency.Job Details• CT Scan unit in a community hospital setting,• Equipment includes a Philips Ingenuity 64 CT scanner, GE rad rooms with Fuji digital plates, and a Philips digital portable x-ray unit,• Position requires both CT and x-ray coverage, with floating to a satellite campus possible,• 12-hour night shifts, Monday through Sunday,• Minimum every other weekend required; schedule may be adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs,• No block schedules under any circumstances,• Epic EMR used; experience required,• 16-week assignment with potential extension up to 32 weeks,• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local; those 51-100 miles away fall under a different pay tier; distance is measured in a straight line, not by driving distance,Job Requirements• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required; 5 years preferred,• Prior travel experience required,• CT ARRT and Rad ARRT certifications required,• NY injection certification required,• NY state license required; proof of pending application with applied date accepted if license is not yet issued (note: NY licensing typically takes 6-8 weeks),• License required if applicable,• Epic experience within the past 2 years required (non-negotiable),• At least two professional references from a nurse manager and/or supervisor required, with one from the past 6 months and one from within the past year of employment,• SSN and DOB required for consideration,• Reliable personal or rental vehicle required; public transportation is not accessible in this area,• Vehicle must be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April,Additional Information• Perform CT imaging as well as general x-ray and portable x-ray studies,• Floating to a satellite campus may be required,• This is an interview-to-offer position,• Bi-weekly orientations begin on Mondays,• All employment gaps of more than 90 days must be explained,• Complete work history is required, including bed count, EMR, and facility type
